Printed pattern Winter Tree Skirt" Block 4 applique Christmas tree skirt squirrel and mouse blue gold

This listing is for a Printed pattern of block 4, which has a squirrel and a curious mouse. Above him hang christmas baubles along with holly, pine needles and pinecones, blue bows, eucalyptus.

The full quilt consists of 4 blocks and will be 28" high by 28" with a dark blue centre and paler towards the edge. It will have the centre cut away (unless you want to make it just as a solid panel) and fasten with ties so you can fasten it around your Christmas tree. The tree skirt is an irregular octogon and the animals are set on point, so whichever block you have facing the front will be the right way up.

The quilt itself is in my usual style, so it is a patchwork background with raw edge applique sewn with free motion embroidery. You don't need a fancy machine to sew it but your machine needs to be able to do free motion embroidery. The pattern contains basic instructions for the patchwork. I don't go into a lot of detail on patchwork as I am assuming that you know the basics but other than the odd half square triangle, it is all pretty simple.
