The full quilt measures 40 by 40" and has a patchwork background with raw edge applique animals. I use no glue, paints, or fusible. Just fabric and thread. There will be a central barn owl, and four surrounding larger blocks with a woodland and winter theme. Connecting the outer four blocks will be a wreath of winter fauna and flora. The outer 4" of the quilt will have a slightly lighter background. The main section of the background will be dark blues, bright turquoise, teals with light greens, light blues and touches of lilac.
The patterns contains the templates along with plenty of colour photographs through each step.
I don't teach you how to do free motion embroidery in this pattern, other than my own hints and tips, neither do I tell you how to set your machine up for free motion embroidery but I do give you all the stages for you to make your own embroidery.
