Printed pattern: Block four for the coastal path. The block measures 12 by 12" and features a irish chain style patchwork background with a landscape of a coastal scene. On top of this is a raw edge applique with a lobster, embellished using free motion embroidery.
The full quilt measures 36 by 36" and has a patchwork background with raw edge applique animals. I use no glue, paints, or fusible. Just fabric and thread. There will be a central block (measuring 12 by 18") and eight surrounding blocks with a British Coastal theme. There will be puffins, sand pipers, gulls, sea otter, crabs, gannets, seals an limpets. The centre of the quilt will have a circle with a cliff view. The outer sections of the quilt will be creams. The background will be an irish chain, with creams in the centre for the chain and lilacs towards the outside of the quilt.
The patterns contains the templates along with plenty of colour photographs through each step.
I don't teach you how to do free motion embroidery in this pattern, other than my own hints and tips, neither do I tell you how to set your machine up for free motion embroidery but I do give you all the stages for you to make your own embroidery.-------------------------------

Fabric kits contain small fabric pieces which also represent a choking hazard.
The patterns themselves assume you will be using standard sewing equipment like rotary cutters, scissors, needles and sewing machines. You should take suitable care when following the instructions and do so at your own risk. The patterns are intended for adults and if older children are following using them, it should only be done under the careful supervision of a responsible adult.

Descriptions of contents:
Printed patterns contain printed paper and are packaged in a grip seal polythene plastic bag.
Digital patterns consist of a PDF that is downloaded by the customer.
Fabric kits contain printed paper, cotton and cotton/linen blend fabrics, waxed freezer paper, adhesive labels and a paper-based tearaway stabiliser, packaged in a grip seal polythene plastic bag.
Fabric panels contain cotton fabric packaged in a grip seal polythene plastic bag.
Finished fabric pieces contain cotton and cotton blend fabrics, polyester wadding, cotton, polyester and rayon embroidery threads. Packaged in tissue paper.
