Block of the month for the 'Victorian animals ' quilt.

On this listing, you will be signing up for the block of the month and I will send you the first month with Miss Poppy gardening, and I will then be in touch to purchase the rest of the patterns at monthly intervals. Please consider carefully before starting a block of the month on whether you are able to purchase all the patterns. It can be difficult for me to sell the remaining blocks of an incomplete quilt. :)

There will be 9 months in total.

The BOM is £18 a month plus postage and runs for 9 months. Postage to the UK is an additional £1.50 and overseas is £5 a month.

Each block will measure 12 by 12"

The quilt measures 36" wide by 36" tall and has a plain background with raw edge applique mice and toys. I use no glue, paints, or fusible. Just fabric and thread.


The applique is cut from batik fabrics and layered to build up the animals. There will be an overall wreath design for each with each design being focused on a particular month of the year.

The patterns contains the templates along with plenty of colour photographs through each step.

The kits includes the foreground fabrics (no background), stabiliser and freezer paper to help cut the pieces out.

I don't teach you how to do free motion embroidery in this pattern, other than my own hints and tips, neither do I tell you how to set your machine up for free motion embroidery but I do give you all the stages for you to make your own embroidery.-------------------------------

Raggedy Ruff Sewing patterns, fabric kits and finished sewn items are not designed for children under the age of 3 years. The plastic bags the sewing patterns and fabric kits are packaged in a plastic grip seal bag which represents a choking hazard to children under 3. Fabric kits contain small fabric pieces which also represent a choking hazard.

The patterns themselves assume you will be using standard sewing equipment like rotary cutters, scissors, needles and sewing machines. You should take suitable care when following the instructions and do so at your own risk. The patterns are intended for adults and if older children are following using them, it should only be done under the careful supervision of a responsible adult.

All patterns and kits are clearly identified by the title on the online listing and physically on the accompanying paperwork.

Descriptions of contents:

Printed patterns contain printed paper and are packaged in a grip seal polythene plastic bag.

Digital patterns consist of a PDF that is downloaded by the customer.

Fabric kits contain printed paper, cotton and cotton/linen blend fabrics, waxed freezer paper, adhesive labels and a paper-based tearaway stabiliser, packaged in a grip seal polythene plastic bag.

Fabric panels contain cotton fabric packaged in a grip seal polythene plastic bag.

Finished fabric pieces contain cotton and cotton blend fabrics, polyester wadding, cotton, polyester and rayon embroidery threads. Packaged in tissue paper.
